I’m taking the end of the season to add some improvements to the charger. I feel like a cord keeper should definitely be added. This way you can just keep a cord with the charger in your pack all the time. Some people may not want to sacrifice a charging cable to constantly live with the charger, but I’ve found that it seems to work fairly well. Also, by carrying a second rechargable BK battery, I can almost always leave it all together as a package. This does lead me to think that I really need to reverse engineer the BK battery charger.
I was first given that idea by Patrick Lookabaugh, from AFS. Thanks for the idea man. Now, I just need to go through with it.
Update: Looks like the cord keeper isn’t going to work out just yet. It won’t work the molds that I’m planning, and it would likely just get broken off or not fit every diameter of charging cable out there. So, I’ll likely revisit this on later versions, we’ll see…
